Nickel CVD Coated Nonwovens

Nickel Chemical Vapor Desposition (CVD) technology provides unique advantages as the coating can be placed on any substrate, including woven fabrics and bound nonwovens. It offers excellent coating thickness control, ductility and uniformity. It is ultra light weight, highly conductive and offers highly effective broadband shielding. It has the highest specific shielding performance of any composite solution. It is manufactured in a continuous process. The CVD coating is uninterrupted and uniform over every external surface, including binders. It may be stacked or combined in multiple layers. Coating substrates include carbon fiber, aramid, glass and carbon nanomaterials. It offers significant cost savings over competing technologies.
